Lucknow: Mumbai automobile company Autonomous Intelligence Motors Pvt Ltd (AIMPL) on Wednesday announced that it will launch an Artificial Intelligence-of-Things (AIoT) powered driverless car in the country next year. The driverless car can be launched in petrol and diesel variants by March 2022 and the company can also offer an electric variant in it. Let us know what has been found out about this.

How does this technique work?

For this technology, the car will be fitted with several custom sensors, cameras, and radars, which will give the perception system of every car information and run automatically using the information from their algorithms. With the help of this technology, the system will be able to get all the information about the congestion, potholes, roads, and lanes of the road and help the car run without any difficulty and the cameras installed will continue to give every information to the driver.

With the help of sensors, the car will perform better. They can also identify a group of scooters or taxis that run in front of the car, which suddenly turns or stop in the middle of the road. They can predict every incident on the road that can lead to accidents.

IIT alumni created this technique

An autonomous-powered car is capable of identifying every unusual condition and can also cover a distance of about 500 meters without a driver. The car runs with the help of Google Maps and the rest of the company's sensors. the AIoT technology being used in AIMPL's driverless hatchback was first showcased by computer technology student Kushal Tanaji Shilimkar at the National Robotics Championships (NRC) held in IIT- Bombay in 2014.

The company is developing reliable driving technology

Shilimkar's company is currently developing a safe and reliable autonomous driving technology for Indian consumers. In his statement, Shilimkar said, "It is a matter of a few months when our driverless cars will be able to take everyone to work. "

Autonomous Cars and Their Advantages

Cars made with autonomous driving technology do not require drivers. These are called self-driving cars. This allows the car to automatically control braking systems, acceleration and steering wheels, etc. The arrival of such cars will also save people's time. Instead of driving a car, they will be able to sit in it and do any of their work. At the same time, those who are not able to drive will not depend on anyone.
