Craze for Tesla’s Cybertruck, 19 lakh bookings before launch

Tesla’s much awaited Cybertruck has taken the auto market by a storm even before its launching as it has received more than 19 lakh bookings.

According to the Tesla officials, one may have to wait for five years to get the delivery of the Cybertruck.

Tesla plans to roll out 3.75 lakh vehicles in a year if the production of the same is at its peak. One can easily imagine that the waiting period may even be more than five years.

Some auto experts however say that the waiting period may come down as many of the people who have booked the vehicle may not follow through with its purchase especially since the booking amount is only 100 dollars.

Tesla Cybertruck is one of the most awaited vehicles since its launching in 2019 and it has drawn the attention of the industry.

The Cybertruck, an electric vehicle, is being produced at Giga Texas. Tesla has said that it will ramp up production of the electric vehicle in 2024.
