If you want to buy an electric two-wheeler in the new year, there is good news for you. In 2022, India will release a variety of high-end electric scooters and motorbikes. Aside from the major two-wheeler manufacturers, numerous startup businesses are also preparing to introduce their models in the new year. Here are the top five electric scooters and bikes that will be released in the new year.

Vida Electric

Hero MotoCorp is all set to step into the electric segment in the new year. Hero has registered the name Vida Electric to make an entry in the electric segment. Hero is believed to launch his electric scooters with the same name. Hero MotoCorp released pictures of its electric scooter earlier this year. The company is expected to launch it by March 2022.

Bergman Street 125

In July this year, Suzuki's Bergman Street 125 electric scooter was seen running on the streets for testing. It is expected that the scooter can be unloaded with a lithium-ion battery pack of 4kWh from 3. It can also have swappable/portable battery technology which will make riding easier. According to the information, once charged, it will give a range of 90 km. On the other hand, the scooter can cost around Rs 1.2 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hero Electric AE-47

Hero Electric will be the first electric motorcycle of the AE-47 brand and will use a 4,000Wh electric motor. It has a light portable lithium-ion battery of 3.5 kWh. It is claimed that the top speed of the motor will be more than 85 kmph and AE-47 can be fully charged in four hours. Eco and power modes can also be provided in AE-47 electric motorcycles.

Komaki Electric Cruiser Bike

Komaki Electric Vehicles is likely to launch its new electric cruiser bike in the Indian market in January next year. Significantly, it will be the country's first electric cruiser bike and the fifth train introduced by the company. The cruiser bike will be offered in 10 colors along with a high-speed range. On the other hand, the company had also launched XGT-X1 electric scooter this year, which was claimed to be the most affordable scooter in the country.

Ultraviolet F77

Ultraviolet F77, one of the much-awaited electric motorcycles, is also set to launch soon in India. It is in the final stages of testing and its production will start in the first half of 2022. F77 is a high-performance electric motorcycle made in India, which takes just 2.9 seconds to reach 0 to 60 kmph. It also claimed a top speed of 140 kmph.
