NitroKey, a German start-up, claims to have created the "world's safest" Android smartphone, according to the business. The firm has introduced the NitroPhone 1, a smartphone that would give customers greater protection and privacy while also providing them with superior hardware. The fact that the smartphone is built on the Google Pixel 4A and runs on the GrapheneOS operating system is a major selling point. Google's product has become the safest Android phone as a result of the use of this operating system.

NitroKey has created a new smartphone for those who are concerned about the security of their personal information. People who are worried about being watched may also be interested in utilizing such a smartphone. Former CIA officer Edward Snowden was quoted on the company's website as saying, "If I were to set up a smartphone today, Daniel Micay's GrapheneOS would be the operating system of choice." End-to-end encrypted backups of the phone may be stored on a USB device or in the cloud.

Specifications like Pixel 4a

The NitroPhone 1 has specs that are comparable to those of pixel 4a. The smartphone sports a 5.81-inch full HD+ display as well as a 12.2-megapixel main camera. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor and has an internal storage capacity of 128GB along with 6GB of RAM. The gadget, which costs 630 euros and can be bought through the company's website, is available for purchase (about Rs 54,650).

GrapheneOS will ensure user's security

New features include physical tamper protection encryption as well as the Titan-M security chip on the new device. By tampering with the gadget that has this chip, it is impossible to steal stored data. In addition, the phone is equipped with an automated kill switch, which shuts off the gadget when it has been dormant for a certain period. A pin layout scrambling mechanism is also included in the gadget, which makes entering pins in public areas safer than it would otherwise be.

Safety from spyware

NitroPhone features sandboxes for all of its applications to keep them safe from malware and spyware intrusions. The gadget comes equipped with a hardened browser, WebView, and PDF viewer, and it will be the first to receive security upgrades. Google Apps and Google Play support are not available on the smartphone, which means that the search engine firm will not be able to track the device as well. This device's IMEI number and serial number will not be accessible to apps, as well as its other information.

Removable microphones

Users who purchase NitroPhone will also have the option of removing the smartphone's microphone from the device. That is, each time someone is called from the device or linked to the external headset for audio recording, it must be called from the device. With the aid of microphones, the possibility of eavesdropping will be eliminated, and no program will be able to listen in on the user's conversations in the background. NitroPhone 1 will not be preloaded with any bloatware, and it will only include the essential default programs.
