The popular dating app Tinder may soon offer users a new feature to seek friends' advice to choose their partner. With the help of a new feature called 'Swipe Party', the decision to swipe a tinder profile right or left can be taken in association with friends. If you like a profile in a dating app, you have to swipe left if you don't like it.

The feature found in app code

According to TechCrunch reports, signs related to the new Swipe Party feature are found in the code of the Tinder mobile app. The feature asks for access to the phone's camera and microphone so that friends can be spoken to when choosing a partner. The platform wants to give users the same experience as users when choosing a dating partner offline and often decide to move on after consulting their friends.

Swipe Party feature will work like this

Users will be able to send invites to a friend while using the app with the swipe party feature available in the Tinder app. The friend will then be able to be a part of the swiping session and he will also see tinder profiles on the user's screen. In this way, a friend sitting away will be able to advise whether the user should swipe right on a profile or not. The feature will act like a watch party or share play in which users can watch movies together.

Friends to create guest accounts

Friends will have to create a guest account on Tinder if they want to help a user choose a dating partner with the help of a swipe party feature. This can be done by entering the code that appears on the phone number after giving it. The guest will also be asked for his name and birthday before becoming a part of the swipe party. With the new feature in the testing phase, many changes can be made.

When will all Tinder users get the feature?

The Swipe Party feature was first shown in the code of the Tinder Android app to the dutch website GratisdatingTips. Later, Pocket-Lint and Forerina also mentioned in their reports that the feature was in the testing phase. The mobile app means that this feature is coded, it will soon be made a part of the dating app. However, the official timeline for the new feature rollout has not been shared by the company.

Explore feature created part of the app

The Explore section in India has also been made a part of the app last year. The new exclusive social experience app for users with the Explore section has been included and options like Hot Text or Swipe Night are also available here. The Hot Text feature gives users the option to participate together in quizzes based on popular culture and opinions and chat before the match, making users know each other.

Tinder is bringing ID a verification feature to identify if the accounts shown to users on the dating app are genuine. Tinder has said that the feature will be volunteer, meaning it will not be mandatory for users to submit ID.
