Chinese tech firm Realme has finally released its first tablet, the Realme Pad, in the Indian market. In recent months, leaks connected with the gadget have emerged, and it has been released at a price of less than Rs 15,000. With a MediaTek Helio G80 CPU, a 10.4-inch WUXGA+ display, and a 7,100mAh battery, the gadget is ready to take on the world! Following the introduction in India, the gadget will be made available in other countries also.

Price

In India, there are three different versions of the Realme pad to choose from. It costs Rs 13,999 (3GB) to buy the wi-fi-only model with 1GB of RAM and 32GB storage. It costs Rs 15,999 for the LTE+Wi-Fi model, which comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Rs 17,999 will get you the LTE+Wi-Fi version with a high-end 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, which is available in India. Colors such as genuine grey and real gold have been offered as new choices for these products.

Display

There is a WUCGA+ display on the new Realme pad, which measures 10.4 inches. The pad's screen-to-body ratio is 82.5 percent thanks to the display's 2000x1200 pixels resolution and 2000x1200 pixels. For surround sound, it features a quad-speaker system that supports Dolby Atmos technology. In addition to an 8MP single camera on the back panel, the Realme pad includes an 8MP front camera for taking selfies and video calls.

Memory

In terms of memory, the Realme Tab offers up to 4GB of RAM and an internal storage capacity of up to 64GB. Users will get a 7,100mAh battery in the tablet, which will be backed by an 18W fast charging system. It also features reverse charging technology, in addition to having twin microphones for noise reduction. In addition to having a metal shell, this tablet features an ARM Mali-G52 MP2 processor, which provides excellent graphics capability in a small package.

Wi-Fi Model

The Wi-Fi-only version of the Realme pads will be available for purchase later, while the other two versions will be available for purchase on the e-commerce website Flipkart starting on September 16. Several launch deals for tablets will also be made available by the business. HDFC will give you a 2,000 immediate discount if you pay using your bank credit or debit card or via a monthly EMI. If you buy the gadget using an ICICI Bank Credit Card, you will also receive a 1,000 discount on the purchase price.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic began, users have spent an increasing amount of time at home and led to the increasing demand for electronic gadgets such as laptops and tablets. In the second part of last year, market data suggest that laptop and tablet sales increased significantly, and the trend is expected to continue. Bringing new tablets in the affordable category, Realme intends to compete with established players like Samsung and Lenovo.
