Electric cars are becoming people's choice all over the world. Meanwhile, one step further, the discussion of solar power cars has also started. Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a solar powered car. Under project 'Maybach', the solar power car has been made a reality by late fashion designer Virgil Abloh. Project 'Maybach' has come to light after the partnership between Mercedes and Abloh. Virgil Abloh passed away last week fighting a serious illness. The car was unveiled after the consent and support of his family. Mercedes says the design of the Maybach is different from any design developed so far.

The company says almost every element of this innovative car has been equipped with impressive features that will encourage those who want durable things. Project Maybach has a transparent front bonnet with a length of about 6 meters. Solar cells have been installed under it. These will provide charging power to the car batteries.

Project Maybach is a showcase car that can accommodate two people. The train has a combination of large off-road wheels, special attachments and huge Grand Tourismo to see an iconic car. Mercedes unveiled the car during Miami Art Week. The car was partnered by fashion designer Virgil Abloh with Mercedes-Benz. Abloh, 41, succumbed to cancer last week. In his honour, Mercedes-Benz has introduced the car at the Rubel Museum in Miami instead of showing it at a press event.

The company has expressed its condolences to The Family of Abloh, expressing grief over his demise. Underlining the vision of fashion designer Virgil Abloh, his designs, Mercedes-Benz has praised Abloh's vision.

According to the press announcement, "the force of Abloh's work stems not just from the product design, but also from the inquisitive dialogues that his work sparked." While the Project Maybach display car was inspired by how one may experience nature in particularly luxurious surroundings with Maybach, the Mercedes-Benz teams applaud Virgil Abloh for the motivation to explore the power of cross-industry interaction every day to imagine a better, more inclusive future."
