WATCH: Dhoni hits three consecutive sixes, reveals secret behind hitting biggies

Chennai: Mahendra Singh Dhoni, also known for hitting huge sixes, has yet again shown his magic with the bat, hitting three consecutive biggies, in a six-hitting competition with former CSK player Mathew Hayden.

He hit three sixes amid the cheers of fans. Former Indian skipper also revealed the 'hatke' formula of him in hitting sixes.

Explaining his approach while hitting sixes, the helicopter shot discoverer said as other players used to hold bat lightly to hit big sixes, he, unlike them, try to hold it tightly.

“I try to watch the ball and go against orthodox form of cricket which says hold the bat lightly. I try to hold it a bit firmly. What I look for is a good connection. I hit big sixes in practice, but in the matches, it is more flat. I don’t get a lot of elevation," said Mahi.

Welcoming Mahi, Chennai Super Kings also applauded Dhoni's return.

It may be mentioned here that TNPL features eight teams which play 32 matches.
