New Delhi: There is likely to be a big change in the coming times for white ball cricket within the Indian cricket team. It is believed that Team India captain Virat Kohli may resign from limited overs cricket after the T20 World Cup to be played in October and November.

Virat Kohli to quit captaincy:

At the same time, Team India's hitman Rohit Sharma is likely to be made the captain of ODI and T20. Sources with knowledge of this matter informed the Times of India.

Sources told the media, "The 32-year-old Virat Kohli, who currently captains all three formats of India and is India's most successful captain till date, has decided to share the captaincy responsibilities with Rohit Sharma. According to the newspaper report, Virat Kohli has had lengthy talks with Rohit and the team management over the issue over the past few months.

Rohit Sharma to replace Virat:

These sources say that due to the pressure of captaincy in all three formats, it has had a big impact on Virat Kohli's batting. On the other hand, Kohli also believes that his batting needs more time and more speed. Can continue captaincy in Tests:

The sources further said while talking to the newspaper, Virat Kohli also feels that he has responsibilities as a captain in all formats which are affecting his batting, for this he needs to refresh himself as he has a team. According to sources, if Rohit Sharma takes over the captaincy of ODI and T20 then Virat can continue his captaincy in Tests, Virat is 32 years old now and he can play international cricket for next 5-6 years.
