New Delhi: Virat Kohli, who successfully captained team India to Test, ODI and T20I series wins against England, expressed delight over being named the skipper of all three formats of international Cricket on Saturday.

The Indian 'run machine' shared his happiness with his fans through a Facebook post. He posted a photograph with Yuzvendra Chahal, who pulled out a magical spell of 6/25 in the Bangaluru T20I to lead India to an emphatic 75-run win in the match and a commendable 2-1 series victory against England.

He hoped to be a better player after being awarded bigger responsibility and asserted that captaining India in all three formats will allow him more opportunities to take Indian Cricket forward.

Virat Kohli captioned the image, "I was delighted to be given the captaincy for all the three formats. It adds to the responsibility and makes you a better player, a better person. It just gives me more opportunities to take Indian cricket forward, which I think is the best thing to happen to anyone."
