Consistent Kohli destroys confidence of bowlers: Gavaskar

New Delhi: Heaping praises on the human live wire Virat Kohli, former Indian skipper Sunil Gavaskar on Friday said former has made a tendency of destroying the confidence of bowlers.

“The consistent Kohli is on his way to becoming a legend,” said Gavaskar. The Little master said whenever Virat goes out to bat, he gets a one record to his name. Gavaskar believes Virat will rewrite all the records.

Following his superlative batting prowess, Kohli became the only batsman scoring four tons in four consecutive series in the Red Ball Cricket. He left behind Cricket legends Rahul Dravid and Donald Bradman while adding another feather in his cap.

Virat is quickly heading towards crushing the records of Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and Ricky Ponting who have six double centuries registered to their names in Tests.

Indian captain also broke Viru’s record of most Test runs in a home season.
