Virat Kohli turns 29, cuts cake with teammates; Watch video

Rajkot: Keeping at bay the tension after losing to New Zealand in 2nd T20I, the Indian cricket team celebrated the birthday of its skipper Virat Kohli who turned 29 on Sunday.

Teammates along with the Indian team coach Ravi Shastri celebrated Kohli's birthday with a cracking 'cakesmash' ceremony, the photos of which was shared by BCCI on its official Twitter account.

BCCI also shared a video where Kohli is seen cutting one of the two cakes and Shikhar Dhawan then gives him a piece. The players then smear their captain with the cake.

Celebration was also special because this is Kohli's first birthday after becoming the Indian cricket team captain.
