Virat, Geeta and Babita to appeal to  Kanpur people to cast votes

Kanpur: Kanpur administration has decided to encash the popularity of sports personalities including Geeta Phogat, Babita Phogat and Virat Kohli for a good cause. With Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections at the doors, trio would be seen making Kanpur people aware of the importance of election and casting of votes.

DM Kanpur Kaushal Raj has invited Geeta and Babita to the city for the purpose while Indian Cricket team is all -set to play a T20 match which will be held here.

Geeta, Babita and Virat will use radio and video platform to appeal to people for casting votes.

“Virat Kohli is very popular among the youth and his appeal to city people to caste vote, would make a positive impact on people,” said Kaushal Raj.
