Kolkata: The Prince of Indian Cricket Sourav Ganguly turned 45 on Saturday. On the auspicious occasion, not only his former teammates but also his fans took to social platforms to send best wishes to the legendary batsman.
Widely regarded as 'God of Off Side' during his 16-year-long international career, Ganguly is today amongst the busiest administrator in Indian Cricket, serving as the President of Cricket Association of Bengal.
Hailing from Kolkata, Sourav Ganguly marked his Test debut against England back in 1996, where he slammed a brilliant hundred sending out a message that a 'great of the sport' has born.
Dada is much liked for his batting prowess, but is loved across the country for his excellent leadership skills. Arguably, he is the captain who taught India to show aggression on the ground and win the matches convincingly.
