Sourav Ganguly makes a special demand from Virat before T20 WC

According to a media report Ganguly has said, "I want to see Virat Kohli opening in this T20 World Cup. I want Virat to bat the same way he did in the IPL for RCB. He should bat with freedom. He is a great player".

Virat Kohli has also reached New York to compete in the T20 World Cup 2024. However, it has not been confirmed whether he will participate in the practice match to be played against Bangladesh today. King Kohli did not reach America with the rest of the players for the important tournament. He has recently joined the team.

Whether King Kohli will participate in the practice match or not. That is still a distant matter. Before that, former Team India captain Sourav Ganguly has made a special demand from him. He wants Virat Kohli to open the innings and bat in the same style in which he opened the innings for RCB in IPL 2024.

According to a media report Ganguly has said, "I want to see Virat Kohli opening in this T20 World Cup. I want Virat to bat the same way he did in the IPL for RCB. He should bat with freedom. He is a great player".

Virat Kohli's batted very well in IPL 2024. He was successful in playing many match-winning innings while opening the innings for his team. In the last season, he participated in a total of 15 matches for RCB. Meanwhile, he managed to score 741 runs in 15 innings at an average of 61.75.

During this, 1 century and 5 half-centuries came out of his bat. King Kohli was the first batsman to score the most runs in the 17th season of IPL. For which he was also awarded the Orange Cap.
