Colombo: Coming in to play for pride, Sri Lanka won the toss in the fifth and final One-Day International (ODI) against India and decided to bat first at the R Premadasa stadium here on Sunday.

In the rain-affected match, stand-in skipper Upul Tharanga has returned to the squad, while Kusal Mendis has been dropped, apparently for poor run throughout the series.

Indian captain Virat Kohli has brought four changes to the playing XI. Lokesh Rahul, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel and Shikhar Dhawan have been dropped for Ajinkya Rahane, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kedar Jadhav.
