Saha-Ashwin partnership was top-class Cricket: Virat Kohli

St. Lucia: Praising Indian spinner R.Ashwin and wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha, skipper Virat Kohli on Sunday said that partnership between the duos was a top-class Test Cricket. He also applauded pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s fiery spell which helped India taking 2-0 lead in the four-match Test series.

India had thumped West Indies by a big margin of 237 runs in the third Test encounter.

After beating Windies, Kohli said-

• Bhuvneshwar Kumar was amazing in the afternoon, and picking up 5 wickets for 28 runs on that pitch in 24 overs was a great spell.
• The way Wriddhiman Saha and R Ashwin batted was really top class Test cricket as well.
• Now we can play with more positive intent in Trinidad and express ourselves fully and understand the areas we still need to improve on.

India will take on West Indies in the third Test match at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain of Trindad.

India will also play two T20s against the same under the captaincy of shrewd MS Dhoni.
