Kanpur: Indian vice-captain Rohit Sharma notched up his 14th ODI hundred in the third and final One Day International against New Zealand at Green Park stadium here on Sunday.

Being on a rampage mode with the bat, Rohit scored 147 runs off only 138 balls with 18 fours and two sixes.

Rohit has completed his 14th hundred in his 171st ODI. He last scored two back to back hundreds against Sri Lanka in the five-match overseas ODI series.

Sharma, who has been in explosive form recently, had scored 104 runs off 88 balls with 11 fours and 3 sixes in the fourth match against Sri Lanka which India won by a massive 168 runs. In the third ODI, he had scored 124* runs off 145 deliveries with 16 fours and 2 sixes at Pallekele.

Before today’s match, Rohit had scored 6,060 runs at a healthy average of 43.59 in 170 matches. He has also smashed 34 half-centuries and holds a world record 264 as his highest individual score.

With the centuries by Kohli (113 off 106, 9 fours, 1 sixes) and Rohit Sharma (147 off 138, 18 fours, 2 sixes), India amassed 337 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
