Rio de Janeiro: The Indian athletes have a mixed fifth day with few players succeeding for the nation while others failed in their respective events. The athletes will yet again focus on turning the things around on the crucial sixth day of the Olympics at the Rio de Janeiro of Brazil.

In the disappointing fifth day, few Indian talents including archers Bombayla Devi, Deepika Kumari and boxer Manoj Kumar were the only shining stars.

As many as 124 Indian athletes are representing India in 19 games including Archery, Gymnastic, Athletics, Badminton, Boxing, Golf, Hockey, Judo, Rowing, Shooting, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Weightlifting and Wrestling.
