New Delhi: There can be a big change in Indian cricket after the T20 World Cup. Head coach Ravi Shastri, bowling coach Bharat Arun, fielding coach R Sridhar and batting coach Vikram Rathor may part ways from the Indian team after the World Cup to be held in the UAE in October-November.

Ravi Shastri to part ways with Indian team:

Shastri has informed some members of the BCCI that he is planning to part ways with Team India after the tournament. Shastri's contract expires in November this year. Meanwhile, some other support staff are already in talks with the IPL teams.

According to the Indian Express report, the BCCI also wants a new group. Shastri first captained the team as director from 2014 to 2016 T20 World Cup, after which Anil Kumble was appointed for a year. In the year 2017, Ravi Shastri was made the full-time coach of the Indian cricket team after the departure of Anil Kumble.

Bharat Arun played a key role in making India's bowling one of the most dangerous in the world, while R Sridhar made the Indian players the most agile fielder. However, under the leadership of Ravi Shastri, the Indian team lost the semi-finals of the ODI World Cup and the final of the World Test Championship in the year 2019. So far, under the leadership of Ravi Shastri, the Indian team has not been able to win the ICC trophy. On the other hand, during Shastri's tenure, India has been able to beat Australia twice in the Test series on the same soil. Apart from this, he has performed well in South Africa and England.

Apart from this, the Indian team was invincible against Australia, England and South Africa at home. India's bench-strength has also increased manifold in the last four years. Indian bench-strength has shown its mettle in the historic 2-1 series on the Australian tour. It is very important for a team to have the right coordination between its coach and captain. This has been seen a lot in the pairing of Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri.
