London: Indian young guns in the form of Ramkumar Ramanthan and Purav Raja- Divij Sharan crashed in the men singles and doubles of the Wimbledon qualifier respectively on Thursday.

India’s hope in the singles qualifying event ended after Ramkumar faced 6-7(5) 6-7(3) defeat against Daniel Brands of Germany.

On the other hand, Raja and Sharan fought their best before losing (7-6(5) 4-6 6-8) to Dustin Brown and Jan-Lennard Struff of Germany.

Earlier, it was Saketh Myneni, who lost in the first round to the Frenchman Tristan Lamasine in the men’s singles.
