Sindhu loses gold but wins hearts, PM dubs her feat as historic
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday congratulated P V Sindhu, the Indian shuttler to win the first ever silver medal for the country in badminton with her golden performance at the Rio Olympics.
The Premier took to twitter to give Sindhu a pat on the back.

Among other leaders, President Pranab Mukherjee and Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi have also congratulated Sindhu for the historic win.
