Players of Pakistan cricket team will train with their country's army before the T20 World Cup 2024. All Pakistani players will do training camp with the Army from 25 March to 8 April. The reason given by Pakistan Cricket Board is quite shocking. While giving information in Islamabad, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said that the Pakistani team will do a training camp with the Army about a week after the end of PSL. He said that this will help the players to get fitness faster.

According to media reports, the PCB chief, while talking to the Pakistani players, bluntly said that when he was watching the match in Lahore, he did not remember any of you going into the six stands. Whenever a six went into the stands, I thought it must have been hit by a foreigner. For this reason, I asked the board to make such a plan that every player can gain fitness quickly. For this you will have to make proper efforts.

He said that now New Zealand is coming, then after Ireland and England, there is T20 World Cup 2024. I wondered when our players would train. We are going to conduct a training camp at Kakul Military Academy between March 25 and April 8. Pakistani Army will help you in training. He said that this is not the first time that the Army is going to help in the training of the Pakistan team.

The Pakistan team had earlier taken training from the army under the leadership of Misbah-ul-Haq. After training, Misbah was seen saluting the Pakistani Army after scoring a century against England and also did 10 pushups. However, the series ended in a draw at 2-2. During the same period, Pakistan team also remained on top in the ICC Test rankings for some time. The PCB chief also asked all the players to play for Pakistan instead of playing T20 league.
