Melbourne: Australian skipper Steven Smith is unarguably one of the best batsmen the game of Cricket has ever produced. But after the end of fourth Ashes Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground here on Saturday, the Kangaroo batsman stunned everyone by saying that he doesn’t like watching Cricket.

Yes, the Aussie captain, who struck 23rd hundred in his 60th Test match shocked everyone at the post-match press conference by saying, "I don't actually like watching Cricket."

Smith scored 102 runs as Australia declared on 263-4 in second inning at a dead MCG wicket. Aussies, however, have already won the Ashes urn by taking 3-0 lead in the five-match series.

It is worth mentioning that only Donald Bradman and Garfield Sobers have reached 23 Test tons in a shorter space of time.

On being asked about the key to maintaining concentration while batting, Smith said, "I don't know the answer to that, to be honest with you. From my experience, I just want to be out there batting."

"I don't actually like watching Cricket that much and I prefer to be out there batting and getting the job done. I think that's part of it.

"You've just got to try and stay as focused as you can each ball, treat every ball like a different challenge and get through as many as you can."
