Massive blow to Sunrisers Hyderabad, Nehra ruled out of IPL

Hyderabad: In a massive blow to Sunrisers Hyderabad and that too in an important phase of the IPL 2016, the ace seamer Ashish Nehra has been ruled out of the tournament due to hamstring injury.

Nehra suffered the injury during the match against Kings XI Punjab on May 15.

According to an official release of Sunriser Hyderabad-

• SRH pacer Ashish Nehra has sustained a significant hamstring tendon injury.
• Nehra is now in consultation with a specialist orthopaedic surgeon.
• He will get the most appropriate course of treatment to ensure a successful return to competitive Cricket.
• Unfortunately, he will play no further part in the ninth edition of the Indian Premier League.

David Warner led Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on Delhi Daredevils in their next match at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium on May 20.
