India had won the recent five-Test series against England 4-1. Many big records were broken and many records were created in this series. In the same series, England's veteran fast bowler James Anderson also completed his 700 Test wickets.

With this, Anderson has become the first fast bowler in the world to touch the mark of 700 wickets in Test cricket. However, before him, the record of more than 700 Test wickets is in the name of former Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan (800) and former Australian spinner Shane Warne (708). In this way, James Anderson is at third place among all-over bowlers in Test cricket. James has now refreshed some memories of this series.

In fact, James Anderson revealed on BBC's Tailenders podcast that as soon as Kuldeep Yadav came to the non-striker's end with a single over third man on his ball, I was returning back to the runup. Meanwhile, Kuldeep told me that he would become my 700th victim. However, James also clarified that it was not that Kuldeep was asking me to try to get out. He just felt that way and after that we both laughed again about it.

The same thing happened as Kuldeep Yadav told James Anderson. For India, Kuldeep Yadav played an inning of 30 runs facing 69 balls. He was caught by Ben Fox off the ball of James Anderson. And James Anderson had completed his 700th Test wicket. England's first innings was reduced to 218 runs and the Indian team scored 477 runs in the first innings. The Dharamsala Test was won by India by an innings and 64 runs.

41-year-old James Anderson now plays only Test cricket for England. He played his last ODI for England in 2015, while his last T20 International was in 2009. Jimmy no longer participates in any T20 league.
