After IPL, it is time to turn on Indian Veteran Premier League (IVPL) in India. It will start from November 2023. The most special thing about this league is that those players will also participate in this league, who have retired from cricket and whose age is more than 35. There will be six teams and 18 matches will be played.
Players like Chris Gayle, Lance Klusener, Suresh Raina, Virender Sehwag, Sanath Jayasuriya and Rose Taylor will also participate in this league. But whats more interesting is that the young players could also participate in this. IPL had given many chances to the young players. Similarly this league will also give opportunity to young cricketers.
There will six teams which will participate in the league like Delhi Warriors, VVIP Ghaziabad, Mumbai Lions, Rajasthan Legends, Telangana Tigers and Chhattisgarh Sultans. A total of 18 matches will be played in this league. Matches will be played in Dehradun between 17-28 November.
Each team will have 30% star players and 70% new and young players. The Auction process will also be used in this league like IPL.
