Indore: New Zealand is going steady scoring 125 runs with a loss of single wicket at lunch on Day 3 of the third Cricket of the three-match series at the Holkar Cricket stadium here on Monday.

Resuming from overnight score of 28/0, NZ openers have started their innings confidnetly. Both the openers tackled the Indian bowling with ease before completing their respective fifties. Latham hit seven fours in his controlled innings before getting out to Ashwin at an individual score of 53.

After seven flop innings, Guptil has finally got his form back scoring his seventh half-century. At lunch, he along with Kane Williamson (3) is at the crease hitting eight fours and two sixes in his 59 runs innings.

Guptill, who is playing a fine knock of 59 runs, was dropped by Rahane at gully on 21.

Earlier, India posted a mammoth total of 557 runs with skipper Virat Kohli (211) and Ajinkya Rahane (188) playing awe-inspiring knocks.
