He, however, failed to make any impact as was given leg before wicket to Australian pacer Mitchell Starc at 0. Then, came classy Cheteshwar Pujara who along with confident KL Rahul extended India's total to 72. The 61-run partnership between the duo came to an end with Pujara's wicket at the individual score of 17 runs.

Continuing the brilliance of 1st Test, KL Rahul sported lone warrior playing a 90-run knock, studded with nine boundaries.
