Indian Hockey team registers 2-1 win against Ireland

Valencia: After sporting a tremendous game play, Indian Hockey team have overpowered minnows Ireland by 2-1 in the second encounter of the Six Nation Hockey Tournament on Tuesday.

The efforts of Talwinder Singh and skipper Sardar Singh helped India to score two goals in the 22^nd and 23^rd minutes respectively while Ireland’s midfielder Kyle Good was the lone warrior for their side as scored maiden goal for them.

Ireland, however, started the proceedings as took 1-0 lead in the fourth minute with Kyle’s brilliance on the ground.

It was not an easy win for the Indians as Irish gave a tough fight throughout the match.

Previously, Indian Hockey team lost 0-4 to Germany in the opening fixture of the Six Nation Hockey Tournament.
