Bangladesh scored 152 runs in their full quota of overs. In reply, India were bowled out for only 113 runs.

The Indian women's cricket team lost their first one day match to Bangladesh by 40 runs.

India won the toss and opted to field.

Bangladesh scored 152 runs in their full quota of overs. In reply, India were bowled out for only 113 runs.

The match was played at Meerpur.

This was India's first loss to Bangladesh in the one day matches.

For Bangladesh Murshida Khatoon who opened the innings scored 13 runs. Fargana Haq and Captain Nigar Sulatan scored 27 and 39 runs respectively.

Priya Punia opened the innings for India and scored 10 runs. Vice-captain Smriti Mandhana, Yastika Bhatia and Captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored 11,15 and 5 runs respectively.

Along with this Deepti Sharma scored 20 runs. The whole team could scored only 113 runs.
