India to tour South Africa for six ODIs, three Tests and T20s

New Delhi: South Africa will host Indian Cricket team for three Tests, six ODIs and three Twenty20 Internationals, confirmed Cricket South Africa.

Issuing a press release, Cricket South Africa confirmed the dates and venues for all the remaining fixtures.

Virat Kohli led Indian team will arrive in South Africa on December 28 and will play its first Test in Cape Town on January 5. India will also play two-day practice match at Boland Park, Benoni on December 30-31.

The release further stated, “The time constraints faced by India have forced us to reduce the Test matches to three while increasing white ball cricket to six ODIs and three T20I matches.”

Earlier, India's last toured South Africa in 2013 for two Tests and three ODIs. Indian team had suffered 0-2 defeat in white ball Cricket while it lost the Tests 0-1.
