Ind vs Aus Final: India lost the World Cup against Australia due to these 5 big reasons

The dream of crores of Indian fans of winning the World Cup 2023 title was shattered. A country of about one and a half billion people had been performing Havan and worship in temples for the last several days for Team Rohit (Rohit Sharma) to win the World Cup. But the Indian team, which reached the finals after winning ten consecutive matches, could not live up to the expectations on the biggest occasion. And if this happened, then there were many reasons behind it in Narendra Modi Stadium.

Five reasons, which shattered the dreams of crores of Indians.

1. Fourth wicket partnership:

In the beginning, the Indian bowlers appeared disoriented and after the second over, Australia's score was 28 for 1 wicket, but in the next few overs, India reduced the score to 47 for 3 wickets in 6.6 overs. And just when it seemed that India had got the required aroma for victory, the third wicket partnership between semi-final player of the match Travis Head and Labuschagne spoiled the whole game. And this became the first major reason for the title slipping from India's hands.

2. India's low score:

It is clear that despite the Kangaroos batting first as per their wish at the Modi Stadium, India went about 40-50 runs short of giving the Kangaroos a fight. And if these runs were scored, they would definitely have put a lot of pressure on the Australian team and this made a big difference.

3. Three stars could not reach double figures:

While in all the previous matches, Indian batsmen performed almost with bonus, but at the time of greatest need, their three big batsmen could not even touch the double figures. Shreyas Iyer (4), Shubman Gill (4), who scored two consecutive centuries before the final, and Ravindra Jadeja (9) in the lower order could not even reach double figures. And the failure of the batsmen was the third major reason for India's defeat.

4. Travis Head became a headache:

Lefty Travis Head Mamno, who was kept out of the eleven in the first five matches, returned as a boon for Australia. In the semi-finals, Travis Head became the player of the match with a half-century innings (62) and two important wickets, then in the final, he gave further height to this performance and he stood as a wall between India's victory and along with Labuschagne, together pushed India towards defeat

5. Could not take wickets when required:

The Indian bowlers, who had been thrashing the greats with their balls till the finals, could not take even a single wicket at the time of greatest need. And this wicket was especially that of Travis Head and Labuschagne, who supported his partner by batting slowly at one end. The performance of ten matches on one side and the time of greatest need on the other. And the failure to take wickets at this great need became the fifth major reason for India's defeat.
