ICC ODI Rankings: Captain Mithali Raj at top spot in batting list

New Delhi: The ICC released the women's ODI rankings on Tuesday. Mithali Raj, the captain of the Indian one-day team, continues to reign in the batsmen's rankings. She remains at number one with 762 ratings. Along with Mithali, South African opener Lizelle Lee (762 ratings) has gained a place in the batsmen's rankings. With this she has reached the top position. In the batting rankings, both Mithali and Lee jointly occupy the first position.

Mithali Raj on Top:

Recently, Lee played an unbeaten innings of 91 runs against the West Indies, which has benefited him in this ranking. Let us tell you that Lee has secured the top position for the first time since June 2018. Australia's Alyssa Healy (756 ratings) is in third place in the rankings. Apart from Mithali, there is only one Indian player in the top 10, Smriti Mandhana. Mandhana has lost one place in the rankings. She has reached the ninth position with a rating of 701.

At the same time, two Indians are included in the top 10 in the bowlers' ranking. Jhulan Goswami is at fifth place with 694 ratings while Poonam Yadav (617 ratings) remains in ninth place. On the other hand, Australia's Ellyse Perry has lost one place in the all-rounders' ranking. She has moved up to second place with 418 ratings. At the same time, India's Deepti Sharma remains in fifth place with 331 rating.

At the same time, in the T20 rankings, India's young star batsman Shefali Verma remains at the top with a rating of 759. She is followed by Australia's Beth Mooney (744) and Indian team's T20 vice-captain Mandhana (716). There has been no change in the rankings of Deepti Sharma (6th) and Poonam Yadav (8th) in the T20 bowling rankings. Deepti also remains at the fourth position in the all-rounders' list. In the list of T20 bowlers, England's Sarah Glenn has moved up one place to the second position. New Zealand off-spinner Leigh Kasperek has moved up seven places to 15th while all-rounder Jess Kerr has gained eight places to be at 58th.
