Hyderabad: India wrapped up another terrific day at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium here on Sunday as they succeeded in bagging three wickets of the Bangladesh team, which is trying to chase down a mammoth target of 459 runs in the one-off Test.

At Stumps on Day 4, Bangladesh was reeling at 103/3 in 35 overs with Mahmudullah (9* off 29) and Shakib Al Hasan (21* off 42) standing at the crease, while Tamim Iqbal (3), Soumya Sarkar (42) and Mominul Haq (27) have already gone back to pavilion.

India's spin duo of Ravichandran Ashwin (2/34) and Ravindra Jadeja (1/27) bagged the all three wickets in their respective spells of 16 and 8 overs.

Earlier in day, India came in to bat again and lost the wickets of Murli Vijay (7) and Lokesh Rahul (10), who has been out of form in Test Cricket since England series, with just 23 runs on the board.

Virat Kohli and Pujara, however, added 67 runs for the third wicket, before the Indian skipper departed at the individual score of 38 runs off 40 balls. Ajinkya Rahane also scored quick 28 runs off 35 balls, while Pujara and Jadeja remained unbeaten.

Taskin Ahmed and Shakib Al Hasan, who could not bag any wickets in the first innings, claimed two wickets each.

Bangladesh captain Rahim in the first inning of Bangladesh showed great character in his 127-run inning that came off 262 balls with the help of 16 fours and 2 sixes. He was the last man to depart in his team’s inning (388/10).

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who could not take a single wicket till yesterday, started the Day 4 with a mind-boggling delivery which ripped off the stumps of Mehendi Hasan Miraz (51 runs off 107 balls).

In an interval of 56 runs from 322 runs, Taijul Islam (10) and Taskin Ahmed (8) also went back to pavilion, while Kamrul Islam Rabbi (0*) remained unbeaten at the crease.

Umesh Yadav was the pick of the bowlers from India in the first inning, as he claimed three wickets for 84 runs in 25 overs. Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja claimed two wickets while Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ishant Sharma plucked one each.

Now, India is just seven steps (wickets) away from yet another series win at home.
