New Delhi: The early Eid remark of All Party Hurriyat Conference Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq following the defeat of India against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy 2017 has not gone down well with many, specially the volatile cricketer Gautam Gambhir.

Congratulating Pakistan Cricket team for its emphatic win over Men in Blue, Mirwaiz, on micro-blogging site Twitter, said people are using fireworks to celebrate the win of the side which was better on that particular day.

"Fireworks all around, feels like an early Eid here. Better team took the day. Congratulations team #Pakistan," he tweeted.

Slamming Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir advised former to cross the border and get better fireworks. He even extended his hands to help Umar in packing his bag for the Eid celebrations across the border.

"A suggestion @MirwaizKashmir why don't u cross the border? U will get better fireworks (Chinese?), Eid celebs there.I can help u wid packing,"Gambhir tweeted.

It was not the first time when Umar Faroooq congratulated Men in Green for their success in the eight-team league. He had wished Pakistan luck when it had beaten hosts England to enter the CT 2017 final tweeting "As we were finishing taraweeh,could hear the fire crackers bursting, well played team #Pakistan. Best of luck for the finals!".
