Cape Town: South African lower-middle-order batsman David Miller reincarnated his Indian Premier League (IPL) rampage at the international level by smashing the fastest ever Twenty20 International (T20I) hundred against Bangladesh.

Once he had left Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) bowlers devastated by hitting a 38-ball hundred and helping Kings XI Punjab pull out an unbelievable victory, and now he has exploited Bangladesh bowlers even brutally as he completed his hundred off just 35 balls in the second and final Twenty20 International (T20I) being played at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom.

Miller helped South Africa post an imposing total of 224/4 with his magnificent hundred which was laced with 7 powerful fours and 9 humongous sixes. He bettered his fellow countryman Richard Levi's record of 45-ball hundred by 10 odd balls.

Hashim Amla was also very impactful as he scored 85 runs off only 51 balls hitting 11 fours and a six.

Apart from AB de Villiers, none other batsman could make it to the double figures. De Villiers scored 20 runs off 15 balls with a four and a six. Mangaliso Mosehle (5 off 5), JP Duminy (4 off 8) and Farhan Behardien (6* off 5) were the other batsmen who got a chance to bat today.

The home side ended their allotted 20 overs on 224 for 4 after they were sent in by Bangladesh.

Currently, the touring Bangladesh team is in deep trouble as they have lost 6 wickets for 95 runs in 12 overs. They require another 130 runs off 48 balls with only four wickets in hand.
