India, Pakistan women teams all set to rekindle World T20 Rivalry

India has lost only two T20 international matches to Pakistan. Both times it was in Women's world T20 matches: 2012 and 2016.

New Delhi: Indian women cricket team on Sunday will play its second T20 match against Pakistan at Providence Stadium, Guyana by Indian time 8:30pm. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur's century won India its first match against New Zealand with 34 runs.

Last time when these two teams were playing against each other Pakistan had won the match by Duckworth Louis method with the margin of 2 runs.

After securing century for India Capt. Kaur had said, “We need to focus on the first six overs, because when you have only two fielders outside, how many runs you get is a plus point for us, that’s the only reason we sent Taniya [Bhatia] to open, who can play freely.”

Nida Dar, Pakistan’s Player said on Friday, “These matches always have pressure, from the Indian side, the Pakistani side, from our families."

“We play the games with a different kind of passion, and it brings its own unique feeling. Compared to other matches, we play with double the emotion. We’re hoping for the best wishes of people back home,” she added.

Meanwhile, Indian women team is all set to win this match with much zeal and confidence after tasting the defeat of March 19, 2016 match from Pakistan.

After 2016 India has won all the matches

India has lost only two T20 international matches to Pakistan. Both times it was in Women's world T20 matches: 2012 and 2016. But after 2016 defeat in Delhi India has played three times against Pakistan and every time it came out victorious.
