Lucknow: Yuvraj Singh, who got his name registered in the history books by smashing six sixes in an over against England in 2007 T20I World Cup, is celebrating his 37th birthday today.

Yuvraj who is well known for his accomplishments in Cricket, is the son of former Indian fast bowler and Punjabi actor Yograj Singh.

  • Post ICC World Cup he was diagnosed with a cancerous tumour stage-1 in his left lung and underwent chemotherapy treatment at the Cancer Research Institute in Boston, United States.
  • Yuvraj was discharged from hospital after completing the third and final cycle of chemotherapy and returned to India in April 2012.
  • Yuvraj Singh, after battling cancer, started his NGO YouWeCan.
  • He plans to help cancer patients in their treatment with his NGO.
  • After his battle with Cancer, Yuvi penned down his autobiography titled, The Test of My Life: From Cricket to Cancer and Back.
