OLYMPICS ( TOKYO 2020)

Dikk Pound, a member of the International Olympic Committee, has said that there will be no Olympics this year. The Olympics 2020 will be postponed until next year due to the Corona effect. He told USA Today in an interview that as far as I know, the IOC has decided to postpone it. This decision has been taken due to the effect of the Corono virus, as players will not be able to prepare for it at this time.

Few countries already denied:

British Olympics association Chairman said that many countries already cancelled their participation in Olympics. Australia, Canada, Brazil and other countries already declared that they will not do competition against Japan.

Dikk Pound accepted that on the notice of International Olympic Committee (IOC), this decison has been taken.

This year Tokyo was about to host the Olympic. But the occasion has been cancelled for now.

The host country was also trying to postpone the Oumpis:

Canada had already said that a decision on the Olympics should come immediately. It is also not safe for players to practice at such times. After this, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe also asked the IOC to take a quick decision on this.

Indian Olympics Association was also in wait:

The Indian Olympic Association on Monday said it will “wait and watch” for at least a month before taking any call on the country’s Olympic participation after Canada created a flutter by becoming the first nation to pull out of the showpiece if it is held this year.

The total corona cases in India has crossed the graph of 500 and 10 people lost their lives.
