Chelsea is the champion of English Premier League 2017

West Bromwich: Chelsea emerged as the champion clinching the coveted English Premier League title, as they defeated West Bromwich Albion 1-0.

Michy Batshuayi scored a late goal in the 82^nd minute of the match to take an unassailable 10-point lead.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has become only the fourth manager in English soccer history to clinch the Premier League title in his first season. The team members threw him in the air celebrating the remarkable victory.

Speaking after the breathtaking win, the Italian man said, "It wasn't easy for me to arrive in England and try different habits, a different language and inherit players after a bad season."

Chelsea was looking frustrated following a stubborn approach by West Brom as they defended deep in numbers. Hence, Conte decided to call back Eden Hazard and Pedro Rodriguez to send in Batshuayi - surprisingly - and Willian.

Just six minutes later, the Belgium striker scored the biggest goal of his career and was immediately mobbed by his teammates in front of Chelsea's jubilant visiting fans. Surprisingly, it was only the second league goal of his career and first since August, and what an occasion he chose to hit it.
