Bumrah reveals secret behind his super-over heroics against Gujarat

New Delhi: Jasprit Bumrah is certainly turning into one of the best death bowlers in the globe. Defending 11 off the super over, Bumrah did a fantastic display of death bowling and conceded just six runs.

He gave credits to the consistent practice of this particular bowling in the nets. His over had everything be it no ball, wide ball, slower deliveries or few in the blockhole.

Bumrah said when it comes to bowling yorkers, he learnt a lot from his senior teammate Lasith Malinga.

"I practice with him on how to bowl the yorker consistently, but I always have a death bowling session whenever I practice as it is important, because this is the time I bowl for Gujarat in domestic matches, for India and for MI. So constantly whenever I practice, I've a proper death bowling session," he explained at the post match press conference.

Bumrah said captain Rohit Sharma had advised him to stay calm and avoid taking any pressure.

"He just told me to back my skill and said It is just an over, don't take extra pressure, be confident, be calm and try to execute our plans," Bumrah admitted.

It may be mentioned here that Mumbai Indians is placed at the second spot with seven wins out of nine outings. Gujarat Lions, on the other hand, is at 6th spot with just three wins out of nine encounters.
