Indian athletes have been performing brilliantly in the 19th Asian Games 2023 being held in Hangzhou, China. India has won a total of 60 medals so far, which includes 13 gold medals.

India expects to bag more medals in several events on the 10th day. The Indian cricket team will play its first match in the Asian Games against Nepal today. The Indian team is participating for the first time in the history of the Asian Games. Scroll down for all the updates from Day 10.

Jyothi Surekha Vennam used all her experience to defeat compatriot Aditi Swamy to enter the women's compound individual final of the Asian Games archery event. Leading by one point after four rounds, 17-year-old senior world champion Aditi's momentum was broken, and Jyoti won 149-146.

PV Sindhu, who won two Olympic medals, defeated world number 21 Wei Chi Su of Chinese Taipei 21-10, 21-15 in the Asian Games. Now she will face Indonesia's daughter Kusuma Wardani or Hong Kong's Liang Ka Wing.

India's star badminton player HS Prannoy reached the pre-quarterfinals of singles. World number seven Prannoy defeated Mongolia's Batdava Munkhbat 21-9, 21-12. Prannoy could not play the men's team championship final due to a back injury. Now he will face Bahaedin Ahmed Alshanik of Jordan or Dmitry Panarin of Kazakhstan.

Abhishek Verma has performed brilliantly in archery. He has made it to the final of the men's individual compound event of archery. With this he has ensured the silver medal. He scored 147-145, registering an excellent victory over Korea's Joo Jehoon. Indian fans have medal hopes from him.
