Ashwin tops Test bowlers ranking, replaces Pak's Yasir Shah
Antigua: Ace Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin’s spectacular show during the first match against West Indies, makes him No. 1 bowler in International Cricket Council (ICC) Test rankings. He moved to the first spot by replacing Pakistan leg-spinner Yasir Shah.
The Chennai lad has also proved himself as the best all-rounder of the recent times by scoring 113 runs and plucking seven wickets in the first innings of the Antigua test, which India won by an innings and 92 runs against Windies.
Meanwhile, India’s Test skipper Virat Kohli has moved two spots above to No. 12 for his maiden double hundred against West Indies.
