Pranab's daughter Sharmistha files complaint against online pervert

New Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee’s daughter Sharmistha, also a Congress leader, on Saturday made public the name of a man who was sending her obscene messages on her personal Facebook profile.

She said that she will lodge a complaint with the Cyber Cell of Delhi Police against Partha Mandal, the man who sent her derogatory messages.

• Such a situation is faced by thousands of women every day
• I initially thought of blocking him but then I realised that I must take a step against such perverts
• I am not ashamed of making these posts public because I am not guilty
• Such persons take advantage of silence and hence I chose to speak

• I just want the police to take strict action against such people
