California: After adding end-to-end encryption feature in WhatsApp, the parent company, Facebook has now assured the security to the users of its application, Messenger.
Facebook, the owner of both the social media messaging tools has also encrypted the Messenger to provide security to the privacy of the users.
All you need is to update your messenger. After that the feature of Secret Conversation will be available on the top right side of the conversation.
However, the users will have to activate the encryption feature for every new conversation.
How to activate an encrypted conversation?
- Tap the conversation icon at the top.
- Tap secret in the top right.
- Select your recipient and start messaging.
How to start a Encrypted Secret Conversation?
- Open the recipient list.
- Tap the name of the recipient on the top of the screen.
- Tap the Secret Conversation.
