BJP’s first list of 41 candidates for the forthcoming assembly poll in Rajasthan scheduled to be held on November 23 has ignored supporters of former chief minister and senior BJP leader Vasundhara Raje Scindia.

Though the BJP has released its first list of candidates for 41 assembly seats before Congress, denial of tickets to Vasundhara loyalist has triggered resentment among the party workers and leaders.

Many senior BJP leaders have been included in this list, including 7 MPs. On the other hand, there has been some resentment in politics due to the name of former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje not appearing in the first list of BJP.

Speculations are rife about this in political circles. Whereas the ticket of Vasundhara Raje, a senior BJP leader and two-time Chief Minister, was considered confirmed in the first list. It was expected that his name would definitely appear in the first list of BJP. After the release of this list, Vasundhara Raje's supporters are somewhat shocked.

Vasundhara Raje, who has been the Chief Minister twice, did not find a place in the first list. Whereas the discussion in politics was that Vasundhara's ticket would be cleared in the first list itself.

Political experts are linking the reason for her name not appearing in the first list of BJP to Vasundhara's relationship with the high command.

BJP has adopted the MP formula in Rajasthan also. Regarding this, BJP has fielded 7 MPs on the assembly seats. There were a lot of discussions going on regarding this in the past. Among these, Narendra Kumar from Mandawa, Jhotwara - Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Vidyadhar Nagar - Diya Kumari, Tijara - Baba Balaknath, Sawai Madhopur - Kirori Lal Meena, Kishangarh - Bhagirath Chaudhary and Sanchore - Devji Patel have been given tickets from BJP. In order to strengthen BJP's hold on these assembly seats, 7 MPs have been fielded in the assembly elections.
