Rajasthan has always witnessed a two-way contest and a third front government has never been formed in Rajasthan. For the last 30 years, governments have been formed continuously by BJP or Congress party. However, this time several parties from the third faction can spoil the game on more than 50 seats.

Leaders of parties like Aam Aadmi Party, BSP, RLP, Bhartiya Adivasi Party (BTP) and CPI(M) claim that there will be a contest on more than 100 seats.

This time RLP is seen as the most popular third front party in Rajasthan. RLP, which supported BJP in the last elections, has not revealed its cards this time. In 2018, the newly arrived party RLP last contested 58 seats, out of which it won three. Whereas, the party's candidates stood second on 7 seats. But this time the party's mathematics is different.

This time RLP is running on two different possibilities. Party officials believe that if there is an alliance with any other small or third front party then it will be better, otherwise they will contest elections on all 200 seats.

He told that the focus of RLP is especially on Jaat dominated seats. The party has been performing well in Jaat dominated areas. This time too the party's focus will be on these seats but the party is also focusing on Dalit seats.

Bhartiya Adivasi Party (BAP), formed after breaking away from Bhartiya Tribal Party, can have a deep impact in the tribal areas of Rajasthan this time. The party has strengthened its preparations. In the last elections, BTP had contested on 11 seats, out of which it had won two seats, Chaurasi and Sagwada. She stood second on one seat. Even though Baap has separated from BTP, party officials claim that the entire old team of BTP is with her.

For the last 30 years, BSP has been the most successful party in Rajasthan as a third front. In the last elections also, BSP had won maximum 6 seats as a third front. But all its 6 MLAs joined Congress as soon as they won the elections. This time also BSP is presenting its strong claim as a third front.
