Tamil Nadu's AIADMK MP S Rajendran dies in road accident
Rajendran, held a Bachelors degree in Tamil Literature from the University of Madras and was elected from Villupuram parliamentary constituency, in Tamil Nadu to the Lok Sabha in 2014. After being elected into the House, he served as a member of the Standing Committee on Chemicals and Fertilizers and the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
Tindivanam: All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) leader and MP S Rajendran, died in a car accident, on Saturday morning. The 62-years-old Politician was on his way to Tindivanam, when his car hit the road divider.
Rajendran, held a Bachelors degree in Tamil Literature from the University of Madras and was elected from Villupuram parliamentary constituency, in Tamil Nadu to the Lok Sabha in 2014. After being elected into the House, he served as a member of the Standing Committee on Chemicals and Fertilizers and the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
The accident was so severe that Rajendran died on the spot, however, the injured driver was immediately rushed to the hospital and is undergoing treatment.
The further investigation in the matter is underway.
