Sushant Rajput Case: BSP Supremo Mayawati calls for CBI probe

Lucknow: Politicians have now begun to interfere in the suicide case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. After writing a letter to the Prime Minister by Bharatiya Janata Party MP Subramanian Swamy demanding a CBI probe into the matter. Mayawati, the national president of the Bahujan Samaj Party, has also asked the Maharashtra government to investigate the matter with the CBI, suggesting it be serious.

Mayawati asks for CBI probe in Sushant Case:

BSP supremo Mayawati tweeted in this case on Thursday that the case of death of young Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput of Bihar origin is getting deepened every day due to new facts being exposed and his father filing FIR in Patna Police.

Now it is better to investigate the case by the CBI than by the Maharashtra and Bihar Police. Mayawati further wrote that at the same time, due to the different attitude of Congress leaders of Maharashtra and Bihar in Sushant Rajput case, it seems that their real objective is to fulfill their political interests first and provide justice to the victim family under the cover of this episode. Later, that is not at all appropriate. Maharashtra government should be serious.

Maharashtra Govt not supporting CBI investigation:

The Maharashtra government has made it clear that only Maharashtra Police will investigate the suicide cases of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput and this investigation will not be given to the CBI. Maharashtra's Home Minister Anil Deshmukh held a meeting with Mumbai Police Commissioner and other top officials as the pressure on the CBI probe into Sushant Singh cases increased. After the meeting, Deshmukh made it clear that the investigation in this matter will not be handed over to the CBI.
